Yeah, that's right Nat, I just listened to this mother and it's on.

Sweet melodies, cute Bjork-meets-Regina Spektor-esque voice, big dark harp chords and a little twee.

This album is really different to the more recent Ys: much sparser in the timbre department... The harp playing seems a lot more mature, more of a focus than it's hugely accompanied successor. Certainly a lovely listen. What I really do enjoy is hearing the quiet rumble of amp fuzz closing This Side of the Blue.
