Okay, so you loved De-loused in The Comatorium. Frances The Mute, also completely credible, but after that, The Mars Volta just plain sucked, right? UNTIL NOW.
Self-described as 'an acoustic album' (though not really true), Octahedron is full of the most chill tracks TMV have ever put out, and right now I'd say it's my favourite release from them. Catchy hooks, and many reminders that Bixler-Zavala's voice is out of this world fantastic.
