In 2004, after four great records, Azure Ray disbanded. Maria Taylor just released her third solo album and Orenda Fink launched and excellent new project, O+S with Scalpelist. So it seems odd that now, five years down the line, Azure Ray have just announced a batch of new tour dates! It does however make me very happy. "Hold on Love" is probably their most accessible album, probably their poppiest album and probably my favourite album. Hazy, haunting melodies with blips and glitches.
